Nepenthes' work with McKinlays has been consistently interesting. This spring they have released a new 'oakwood' suede which has a brownish olive tone to it. One of my favorite models is the slip-on, making an nice alternative to a pair of Bostons.

Japanese brand Kapital love their bandanas. The designer produced a beautiful book called Elephant Brand documenting his collection of bandanas. Kapital's own versions feature interesting graphics on beautiful selvage cottons.

For superior comfort and ease, it's difficult to beat New Balance. Their 900 series has peaked in popularity in recent years, but the 991 is still a little bit more difficult to track down.
