Some of our friends are making their first appearance at the Pitti Uomo show this January, The Superior Labor. We've been making some great socks with the Japanese company who are more known for their bags. The small brand make some of the finest quality canvas and leather accessories we've seen, and they are now being sold to a handful of the best shops in Europe. The tote bags, caps, coin holders and socks are great accessories, and made of some of the best materials available.

It's those simple items that have the most wear-ability, easily interchangeable between any outfit in any season. The Skagway Estlin is that shoe for me. It's accessible and it's not overly detailed. I appreciate the classic model made well and Visvim produces a great version here.

Fresh off the train into Florence this morning, we are here for three days to visit Pitti Uomo. It's always exciting to see the new collections, especially for a fall season. So far the weather has been beautiful, hopefully the products will be the same.

The No. 1 vest from Post Overalls showcases a nice cut across the collar, subtle pockets and a really nice choice of fabric. A great mid-layer, the vests from Post usually do a good job of keeping the warmth in while adding some good texture.

Although we have moved into the new year already, we only recently received one of the special deliveries of the season. It includes two beautiful jackets and some great shirts. Each item displays the top quality construction, incredible fabric and superb fit that The Real McCoy's have shown us season after season. These classic items are some of the best versions I've ever seen, from the feel of the A-2 to the HBT cotton on the 8Hour work shirts.
