I noticed this season that Beams Plus has had some of their pieces made outside of Japan. However, I think the pieces still use Japanese fabrics.

One of the worst M65s I have ever seen. Also, sleeve length is too short for Western bodies, as with all Japanese brands.

Jim----I completely agree.I need something new jacket wise 'and as much as i like the thinking behind Beams plus----this looks far too 'fashiony'.I'm going to have to persuede myself to sink some serious cash on the 'Real McCoys' M65 which i think is exquisite.

Always hesitating getting a mccoy repro jacket VS deadstock/vintage. What are the real benefits ? It fits really better ?

Look pretty nice to me. Interesting colours.

Sorrybut: mccoy's, rickson's, etc. are exactl replicas, I believe. cut, everything is the same. william gibson collection fits slimmer and I think they offer slim options for a lot of their jackets. the appeal is the quality of materials used, construction, etc. is completely over-the-top.

I had a look at these on the Oi Polloi website, and close up there look a bit cheapo. However, Ten C do the best M-65 out there. It costs some serious wedge, but it's worth it.
