Words

"Carhartt is perhaps most widely known for its rugged workwear. Employing exceptional standards of quality, durability and comfort, Carhartt workwear has become a legend in the skilled trades. In 1997, the brand was adapted for the European market and new lifestyle pieces were made especially for EU customers."

State Jacket looks cool but, I'd just rather go with a Pointer brand duck jacket. Awesome little brand and only about 3 minutes away from My front door. You Guy's should consider working with them. They make the greatest duck cloth. The jackets, the pants, seriously dope and affordable. At the risk of sounding redundent, when is the new issue dropping?

How's the WIP quality...honestly? I've only ever tried the roper pants- kind of disappointing: very thin, and made in tunisia. So funny they use the "union made" logo. As for Pointer Brand, I'm pretty sure they have discontinued the use of brown duck. I don't know..."Workwear" as fashion tends to end up looking costumey.

I walk past the Carhartt shop most weekdays. Every few months I'll give it another try and drop in, it's always a let down. Carhartt are neither particularly good quality or especially good value, they just tick over, making the same stuff they always have. It's above average casual wear for people who aren't that into clothes. The collaborations are marginally more interesting, but overpriced to a point point where you'd just buy EG instead. I'll leave it to the middle aged skaters I reckon...

Pointer brand no longer will produce the brown duck jkt. So if you have one hold onto it.
