It's tough to argue against the classic shades, but occasionally Clarks offers a new colour in its iconic Desert Boot that makes you consider adding to your regular selection. For me, this would be one of those occasions.

I keep trying to like these----but fail every time----too flat.Much prefer something chunkier from,say,Viberg with a 2021 sole.

I guess, in terms of how long they've been offered and how widely they're available globally, the classic shades would be Sand, Black and Brown - though I prefer Cola to the latter.

A few years ago all you could could easily get was the sand, cola and brown, which seems crazy. I like these though they're perhaps marginally nicer than sand. I keep hoping they would make the wallabee hi in the cola shade that's the holy grail of shoes for me. And (ideally) dump the jink, wallabee run etc from the range.
