Common Projects have become a household name for clean, well made sneakers. It didn't take long, and now, as their main line has increased in quality and price, they are looking for ways to break into the lower end of the market. Ideally offering well designed, well made and simple sneakers, again, the new range called 'New Editions' will be available next spring.

Household name?! Are you kidding? Maybe in Gastown and a few other hipster enclaves in a few major cities, but nowhere else. I bet if you asked 100 random people if the new about CP maybe one person might have. Maybe. I hate to be a boring troll bit let's get it in perspective - this is still very much a niche brand.

Also, with regard to New Editions, what's the point in Common Projects without the epic quality and luxurious materials? It'll be interesting to see what the pricepoint and construction is like, not to mention where they're made.

Good idea for folks like me looking for nice clean sneakers but who can't justify paying a premium for an improved pair of stan smith.

Any idea of the retail price ?
