I dont wear ANYTHING other than cone mills rigid LVC 'made in USA' 501's!.No exaggeration. The fact that they dont make a 33/33 is a complete PITA though.

I'll take ROY jeans made with Cone Mills denim over LVC offerings any day of the week, AND I'll pay $100 more because they're expertly made by one man.

I was going to say when you write "501", there are several cuts to choose from depending on the year. ROY offers two cuts-- a narrow and regular fit. I've always found his narrow to be closer to the 47, except for the rise. If you've ever owned both, as I have, there is no question as to superior quality and construction. But ROYs aren't for everybody.

The looms, the attention to detail. Ordinary people creating art. An exceptional story.
