Words

Epperson Mountaineering make some of the nicest, most classic bags in the USA. The quality and durability of the Cordura is some of the best, and it has a beautiful rugged aesthetic. The company was started in the 70s by mountaineer, Mark Epperson, and this spring the brand has made a pack of three bags especially for Inventory. The bags feature hand picked hardware, a custom color combination and a couple small changes to meet our preference. The bags are limited to 24 pieces per style.

Available at Inventory Stockroom and Dover Street Market

Look nice. Any info on durability and if they're water proof/resistant?

fucking nice and outdoorsy without being funky. Would buy if I didn't have a proper pack already.

What was the original use of the leather patches intended for? Had many a debate about those, wondered if any had the definitive answer?

You can strap trekking poles, external packs, waterbottles, etc to the leather patches.

@Kaz The leather patches are lashing points for attaching equipment outside of the pack with cord, webbing, or the included leather straps.
