Inventory Stockroom Boxing Day Sale

01

Images

—01. One day sale, in-store and by phone order only.

Words

Inventory Stockroom has never put products on sale before, and we don't plan on making a habit of it. However, it's a tradition in Canada to have a Boxing Day sale so we've decided to join in for one day. On December 26th, almost everything will be 20% off, with some items up to 40% off (excluding magazines, books and Inverallan knit caps). The sale will be in-store and by phone order only, and will not apply to online purchases. There are limited styles and sizes left at this stage of the season, so it might be your last chance to snag that item you've been eyeing up before it disappears.

GREAT idea! Will the sale items be marked online tomorrow?

^We won't be posting the sale prices in the online shop. The sale will be in-store and by phone order only. You'll have to call in, otherwise you can expect most items to be 20% off.

Thanks

I just would like to point out that there is a grammar mistake in the sentence: "Inventory Stockroom has never put products on sale before, and we don't plan on making a habit of it." It would sound odd to say, "I has never worn socks with holes in them before." In both sentences quoted, 'has' needs to be changed to 'have' in order for the tense to agree.

Cheers!

Brandon, you boy! Not only are you making pedantic comments about grammar but you are incorrect.

Stockroom is a singular noun and therefore the verb would be 'has'.

Go to the back of the class...

Yours

Mr Bronson
