Kitsuné Natural Espadrilles

—01. Front view.
—02. Handmade in France.
—03. Natural cotton.

Another summer classic I would expect to see back on people's feet sooner than later are espadrilles. While it might be a better idea to snag a pair for $10, Kitsuné have made a beautiful pair in a natural colour. Handmade in France, if you have the chance you might as well get the nice ones.

Huh, this kind of post would usually have provoked a moral debate in the earlier days of Inventory and the h(y)r collective. Where's all the hostility gone?

I lived in Argentina for a few months and have myself a few pair of espadrilles. I paid the equivalent of 15 US Dollars for two pair that look far better than those. Blogging about 'high-end' espadrilles affirms the fact that Inventory is a joke. If you buy into this trend of over-priced boutiquey garb for the sake of name-brand recognition you are in fact a moron. Yet another reason to look at Inventory as a pompous publication.
