Nigel Cabourn 4-Way Rollneck

Words

"Originally made using authentic Colonial Wool, woven straight from the sheep to give a coarse and natural handle to the garment. This piece is inspired by the jumper worn by Tom Bourdillion who was famously pictured wearing it inside-out."

This fall's 4-way rollneck sweater is one of the stand out items in one of Nigel's best collections to date. A big part of that is how directly some of the pieces are inspired by his 2003 Ascent collection. This sweater has a great texture and although the wool has a bit of a rough hand, you can tell it will age and wear beautifully. It also happens to be one of the best priced items this season, which is great considering the quality.

Was curious about this piece - How does it fit? From measurements I've seen online, it looks like it's very long in the body and oversized?

In the spirit of the original reference it's exactly that - long and oversized. However, shrinkage will almost certainly occur with machine washing.

If you plan to machine wash it buy your usual size; if not, size down.

Will you get any Inverallan items this fall?

We will be getting a cardigan and a selection of hats again this fall. We're expecting delivery in October when it finally cools off.
