Published by Alldayeveryday, Penance documents a series of confessions disclosed to Glenn O'Brien at the Chelsea Hotel in New York City. The hard cover version comes in an edition of 100, while there were 400 copies produced with a soft cover. The publication includes a fold-out dust jacket by artist Richard Prince, as well as a prayer card written by O'Brien.
