Restock: Swedish Army Belts

01

Images

—01. Deadstock Swedish Army belt after almost 10 years of wear.

Words

The Deadstock Swedish Army belts are back. The first shipment sold out extremely quickly, but luckily our source had a couple more stored away in the basement for us. We pretty much cleaned them out this time, so it's tough to say if there will be any more after this shipment is gone. The sturdy natural tan leather is the perfect size, combined with simple details, nice hardware and a solid build.

Beautiful belts. Could you please post the width of the belt? They look fairly slim. Thank you.

^They're 3.4cms wide.

They used to sell these in Jungle, the army surplus shop in Covent Garden.

The proprieter there was always good for a chat.

Jungle's gone now, probably a Starbucks.

Had one for last 5 yrs, bought new unused and stiff from Jungle for a song. Recommended to friends at the time. Breaks in beautifully - strong as hell -shapes to your waist. Pretty much one of my favourite belts. Would have bought several had I the foresight to know how difficult to find they became since Jungle closed.

I wear a size 34 pant, and I'm not sure if I should order the 110cm or the 120cm? Any recomendations?

120cm is good for 34 and 36 people.

Jungle! Blast from the past there. Many an hour of an afternoon spent in there after a stop off at Slam City (and by default Rough Trade). Haven't thought about that place in years...

Phil... You could really wear either. It just depends how long you want it to be when buckled.

I'd measure a belt you have now that you like the length of, and order accordingly from there.

My only complaint is the buckle on these belts is a bit small.

I wear a size 32 in most jeans, but measure a 33. is the 110 solid or should i size up? thanks!

JB - You should definitely go with a 110 for the belt. Basically anybody who wears a 34 or smaller in their pants, I would recommend getting a 110.

I can second Ryan there - I'm 32/33 true waist (wear anything from sz 30-32 jeans depending on how much the tag is designed to massage the ego ) and whilst I bought a 120 (out of ignorance) a 110 would have been a more 'accurate' fit.

I love the photos of the aged belt.

I bought the last one. Checked after purchasing it, sold out. Wanted to snag a second one for a gift. Hope mine ages just as nicely as the the photo.
