I find a lot of vests on the market to be too heavily filled, and they become too thick to wear under a jacket nicely. Stone Island Shadow Project have produced this insulator jacket in the past and its back again this fall. With an interesting texture in the quilting, it provides the warmth without the bulk, functioning perfectly as a mid-layer.
