Clarks Originals x 6876

01. Desert Boot.
02. Desert Trek.

This two-part collaboration between Clarks and 6876 was introduced last October with suede editions of the Desert Boot and Desert Trek. Today marks the release of their second set of shoes together: the same classic silhouettes, subtly reinterpreted in brown and black pebble leather. The co-branded models are limited to 500 pairs per style and while restraint is clearly the key here, a vegetable-tanned runner board adds something special to their premium appearance.

Stüssy Clarks Originals Wallabees

01. Khaki.
02. Blue.

Stüssy have just released their latest footwear collaboration: a unique version of the enduring Wallabee from Clarks Originals. The crepe-soled shoe features a suede upper trimmed with luxurious ostrich leather, gold lace caps and co-branded leather insoles. The special edition is available in blue and khaki options, both of which can be found online and at Stüssy chapter stores worldwide, while supplies last.

The Clarks Desert Boot: Made in England

Film by Will Robson-Scott
Edit by Luca Campanale

Inspired by a crepe-soled silhouette made in the bazaars of Cairo, the Clarks Desert Boot is one of the most iconic footwear styles of the 20th century. Designed by Nathan Clark in 1949 and unveiled later that year at the Chicago Shoe Fair, it was put into production soon after and went on sale in 1950. Widespread success followed and it remains relevant and immensely popular today, with more than ten million pairs sold.

To celebrate the Desert Boot’s 65th anniversary, Clarks is set to release a definitive, Northampton-made version, constructed on hand-carved wooden lasts from the original Charles F. Stead suede. Available from tomorrow, the limited edition model was the starting point for this behind the scenes film, which focuses on the shoe’s manufacture as well as its rich history and continued appeal.
