On my first look through the latest Supreme collection, I managed to not click 14 images deep in one of the hat sections and missed these gems. However, one of the more under the radar collaborations in the fall collection is probably one of my 'must haves'. These Ebbets Field Flannel ball caps are great - simple, good quality, nice wool; add some classic branding on the back and you're all set. Now I just have to decide whether I want the navy or the red.

Ebbets Field Newark Bears Cap

There is always room for a good ball cap in a man's wardrobe. Not a hat with a pre-frayed or curved brim, but a baseball cap. Whether its from hip-hop culture or from being the best team in baseball, or just the classic look of it - the Yankees hat has always been appealing to me. The navy wool and white logo just has to be worn with a white tee in the summer and anything else in the winter. You can never have too many and it can never look too new or too old. Basically encompassing all of those traits, but adding a little bit more unique and unrecognizable logo is the Ebbets Field flannel caps that J.Crew have brought in. I'll be honest and say that I hadn't heard of this range before, but after looking through their product range and the selection in J.Crew, I am down for Newark Bears cap. If not purely for the beautiful aesthetic of the cap, they had a record 14 players signed to the MLB in 2009 which is quite impressive.
