I’ve been on a ceramics search lately, ranging from the simplest and most classic forms to the more artful and abstract – these examples falling squarely in the latter category. Based in Pennsylvania, Jessica Hans' work is expressive and playful, utilizing glazed porcelain as well as found materials in her misshapen designs, and offering a break from the uniform structures that you see in a lot of pottery.
