Kana Tozuka, a Japanese potter based in Hokkaido, crafts a range of ceramics inspired by an image of winter and the old streets of her hometown, Otaru. Fired at high temperatures to achieve a glistening glaze, each of these vases is unique, varying slightly in size and shape, while its rich black-bronze colouring is reminiscent of an antique aged through the passage of time.
