Terry Ellis has been working for Beams since the late 80s but some of his most interesting work has been with Fennica. Alongside the mix of Japanese pottery, Scandinavian furniture and international brands, he's developed an original range of vintage-inspired garments in collaboration with Buzz Ricksons and orSlow. The Great Divide recently caught up with Terry to discuss his work and approach to buying ceramics.

After working with Terry Ellis on our last issue of Inventory, we decided to bring in a selection of pottery from Fennica. Terry and his partner Keiko are long-time Beams buyers and have created the Fennica brand to showcase a variety of Japanese and Scandinavian products. Besides the mingei pottery, we also have the Fennica Style Book which further illustrates what the brand is all about through short articles and beautiful photography.
