Truck have grown their international reputation immensely over the past few years. While developing their compound in Osaka, the series of books they lovingly produce combined with increased interest from the western press have really helped to raise awareness. Recently, the company expanded further with a selection of new products – from sofas and beds to cabinets and lighting – and these Sutto series pieces are the highlights for me.

One of the most exciting publications to arrive lately is this series of books by Truck. Their main focus is creating a beautiful selection of furniture in Japan. Casual, completely, understated and functional - the brand is very well thought through and the products are outstanding. Because not everyone can make it to their shops in Japan, they've created a series of books documenting their work, and also the culture and lifestyle surround their brand and inspiration. These books feature beautiful photography, an interesting behind the scenes look and offer insight into the playful personality behind the products.
