Vintage REI Day Pack

Recently a reader sent me an image of a favorite bag of his. Instead of just passing along the image of the vintage REI pack, he included these two landscape photographs as well. Something about it just made sense and the colors and mood just fit perfectly. I've been hunting on eBay for old Kelty and REI bags over the past few months although I've yet to pull the trigger. There is something about the metal frame hiking bags that just looks great, although this small day pack is a bit more useful for regular use.

For what it's worth, I really enjoy this mode of presentation... one showing the product as straightforwardly as is possible, the others entirely unrelated but somehow complimentary. I'm glad you decided to post them.
