"What? I didn't know those were coming out?" That seems to be what I often exclaim when I see new Visvim products releasing, however it's more often than not in their F.I.L. locations. This time Surrender has brought in a couple of Visvim's more classic models; the Serra Hiker and the Keifer. Both models have been around for years and are offered this fall in some clean, sharp looking color options.

I've worn Kiefers for some time now but I 've made the switch to the Skagway model which looks and feels more like a Chuck Taylor. Early on the Kiefer use to have this problem where the rubber siding and leather cap toe would separate from each other and the cap would cave in a bit which they have corrected.

Wayne, I think the Skagway is nice, but I prefer the slimmer silhouette of the Keifer myself.

On the note of Chuck Taylors... I finally got a pair of the Converse Addict shoes, and I love them. I am probably going to have to try to get a 2nd pair if possible so I can wear them without being worried about getting more.

The last pair of Kiefer's I really enjoyed wearing where the
Comme Des Garcons version. Still hunting for another pair of those!
