The bucket hat by Woolen Mills is one of the best out there. The shape and size make it easy to wear and they always offer a great variety of fabrics and colours. One of the more interesting versions this spring had slipped under my radar until the recent update by Tres Bien. The floral pattern is subtle enough to wear, and colourful enough to be ideal for the summer.

You can buy the same fabric at B&Js in New York, you're paying for the concept and construction, but a little research will allow you to realize that you can make a lot of the simple stuff yourself. Its the fabric thats tough to get a hold of.
