Woolrich Woolen Mills Spring Items

—01. Pieces from Daiki's last Woolen Mills collection.

Words

WP Lavori has created something special with Woolrich Woolen Mills. With the change in designers that is in transition right now, it's giving a very traditional brand and product a refreshingly interesting concept, while not taking away from the wear-ability and classic sense of the brand. Daiki Suzuki is one of my favorite designers right now, and although it will be somewhat too bad to see him leave Woolen Mills behind, it will create a renewed interest in both his own brand, and the Woolen Mills collection. Before we have to worry about seasons without Upland shirts, we have one more season from Daiki, which I think looks quite promising. The light colors and good patterns make for a playful, wearable offering, however its still the basics that I'll be stocking up on.

"Stocking up" on shirts that are 165 GBP each and light jackets (the parka) at about 300 GBP? Wow Ryan, either you've come a long way financially, or your writing is sloppy.

Now is the time to pick up a WWM jacket it seems like, I don't like McNairy. The yellow jacket is amazing, any info on the price?

I'm with TH. I was not feeling the WWM McNairy Fall 2011 presentation. It just looked and felt like JCrew!

Those parkas are great!

I'm quite looking forward to Mcnairy's WWM AW collection. I don't see the 'jcrew' reference at all. I will be getting some of the trousers for sure.

Great post! This is the collection that I am most excited about for ss11 (perhaps for sentimental reasons). Who is stocking it and when will it be arriving?

Why... Why must Daiki Suzuki go????

Sad but this collection looks great, the Parka is a must have.

Don't like all the unfair, negative comments you guys are getting - I think you run a nice blog. And btw, stocking up means buying for example a shirt or two a year (in my world.) If you know what you do, you don't need to buy dozens of shirts every season. :) Anyway, the green parka is the main piece for me. Awesome color.

Loving the trail parka. Not loving the price, approx £550. Better start saving now!!

£550? Oh no, how do you know that? Too expensive for me..

The guys at end gave me their expected price. It wasn't confirmed though, just the price they thought it would come in at!!

That's awful, was planning to get this.. I thought it would be more around £350 or maybe even less. It's a lightweight jacket..

just coming onto the japanese market, price over £500!!
You can get a woolrich arctic parka for the same money. You kinda get the feeling they are cashing in as it Daiki's last collection.

Yeah, how annoying..Tres Bien said 4000-5000 SEK. 4000 is ok, but 5000, well.. Maybe it will go on sale.
