I dont know whats happened to Yuketen but to me most of their output looks overdesigned-----expensively cheap even !. They have lost their rather interesting artisanal 'hippy ' look from a few years back.My favourites were the Earth Moccasins.

A man needs a well made pair of boots of quality leather. This trend of mixing different types and colors of leather and other materials is nonsense. It borders on foppishness.

These are awful. The Sports Chukka is the only nice shoe Tuketen make IMO.

I have a pair of yuketen boots and they are sensational. I have them well over a year. Done nothing to them , and they look great, wearing in perfectly.

Re the foppish comment. No not at all, many high quality US boot makers do this, and a lot of the time in quite different colours. yeah they look a bit fruity at the beginning, but well worn in, it evens out, and looks great.
