Arguably Cabourn's most iconic piece, this season's Everest Parka has started to arrive in stores around the world. Made in Yorkshire from 100% British Ventile, these jackets, first seen in 2003, have received a series of slight tweaks over the years ensuring that each new edition is an improvement on the last. Beyond that, colour also plays an important part in keeping the garment fresh. In this spirit Superdenim is offering six of these parkas in navy blue - a colour that's never been used before, and won't be available anywhere else.

45rpm lookbooks are always very well executed, but this season's is particularly good. Although location usually plays an important role, the Fall '11 edition is shot entirely in the studio, divided into sections by different backdrops - a simple approach, but one that works really well and maintains a strong focus on the people and the clothing. Shaggy Dog for Present

Present have just received a selection of Shaggy Dog sweaters. These combed Shetland classics have been a staple at J.Press since the late 60s, but it's great to see them in London and in five different colours too. I like a mohair sweater in the winter, but these are an altogether warmer option, and a little less itchy which is always good.

There's no shortage of patterned knitwear around this season, but very little of it offers anything better or more interesting than that produced by traditional manufacturers for decades. This, however, is one of the exceptions. White Mountaineering have been making these sweaters for a few seasons now and not only are they incredibly good quality, but the intricacy of the pattern, particularly in circling the yoke, elevates them far beyond the run of the mill.
