The lace to toe boot is one of Viberg's most classic styles. I've always had mixed feelings towards it personally, but I do often feel I like the oxford version. The black ripple sole compliments the style nicely, and I think it would be a pretty nice shoe to take you through the fall and winter.

HUGE is one of my favorite Japanese magazines without doubt. The variety of editorials, stories and themes are really interesting, but you can always count on the execution and photography to be consistently great. The latest issue is particularly good, with a look at Lloyd Khan's home in LA, a great Supreme editorial, a hiking shoot and several nice product features.

One of Sassafras' best known bottoms comes in a shortened version this summer. They might actually beat out the Engineered Garments ripstop Fatigue shorts in my books, due to the nice cut of Sassafras bottoms and the back satin cotton in the olive green.

Mt. Rainier Design's extensive range of bags and accessories is one of the best out there. One item that we often have a tough time finding is a useful, nice looking camera bag. This spring Mt. Rainier included their compact and functional version in their collection and we didn't hesitate in picking up a couple of colourways.

These casual shoes by Aurora took me a couple looks to get used to. At first they seem a bit odd, but after seeing them on your foot, and up close and personal, they are quite nice. The Vibram sole is subtle, the leather is nice and they are just simply a nice casual shoe. I prefer the brown leather, but wouldn't mind seeing them in a suede perhaps.

Hong Kong F.I.L. Store Opening

After first landing in Hong Kong several years ago, japanese cult brand Visvim opened its second store in the neighbouring area of Wanchai with a similar minimalist F.I.L. retail concept. The space is beautiful, the masonry work is amazing, and of course the products are decent as well.
