Our Legacy seem to be using increasingly nice fabrics to upgrade some of the most basic items you can have. This is a pretty good way to develop a great base for a collection, which I feel the Swedish fellows have done a good job of. The Piquet polo and white poplin shirt are a couple nice basics in their summer collection.

Just In Modern basically specializes in everything I like when it comes to Mid-Century American furniture design. The shop recently re-located to a larger showroom in Sacramento, California, and as you can see from just this image, its packed with great pieces. There is a great selection of 50s Herman Miller originals, and the prices are quite fair as well. If there's something specific you're after, I'd definitely give their blog a browse, or drop into the showroom if you're in the area.

"Basically it is throughout the year, but every single year especially right before summer I focus on buying t-shirts. I already have many, but still I end up buying more. The feel of the sizing at the time or because of the graphics; it is probably because t-shirts are an item that are easy to change up depending on feeling. Even if it is ragged with holes or the neck is stretched out from wearing every year, I will keep wearing it if it is something I like. I try to choose accordingly within myself like when there is a meeting I will wear a fresh and nice one, and when I go to the beach I wear something light that may dry fast. I've seen some great versions of the climbing short this spring and these heavily washed mineral red jams from Albam are one of the best. They feature a French military metal buckle, herringbone drawcord, and authenticated fit. The fabric makes it easy to wear, and a tastefully updated classic.

Mister Freedom Veste Ouvrier Indigo

This spring Mister Freedom drew inspiration from "Les Apaches", for his collection based on the French street bandits of the early 19th Century. The 9.7oz Indigo Metisse fabric, a mixture of both cotton and unsanforised linen, give this coat a strong referenced look to the original design ideas of MFSC.
