Issue 05 Release

01

Info

—01. Nelson the Seagull, Vancouver.

Words

Another issue has come and gone, perhaps its still coming for some of you, but it should arrive soon. We're proud about the pages we've put together again and we couldn't do it without our team, our contributors and our friends. The process is just as strenuous as ever, but it was nice to finally put our latest issue on the shelf last month, so to celebrate we had a nice dinner party at Nelson the Seagull, who put together a wonderful three course meal for us. Thanks again to everybody involved in making the issue, and of course to everyone who takes the time to pick themselves up a copy.

Issue 05 now available

Fantastic. Magnificent. These photos bring a reputable element to your amazing publication. Seeing faces that make your product what it is compels me to admit this to be my favorite post since you began the site. Well done.

The growth of your company, the passion for your work, the simple beauty of your stores, the quality of everything you make and carry, the magazine filled with previously untold stories, and the people who do all of this work to share with others from around the globe...the whole experience puts a smile on my face and makes me marvel at what can be accomplished with an idea, conviction, vision and a very large amount of hard work. Thanks for sharing the photos of this lovely evening and congrats to you all...very well done.

F.A.O Glenn: why can't we get the soft focus and beautiful people machine out every time we finish something, instead getting the arse, blaming everyone for everything, and not talking to each other for months?

Andy... I know that was aimed at Glenn, and I don't want to speak on his behalf, but I'm no better.

The soft focus disguises a lot of things.

I can't go months without speaking to anyone, but I'm very good at sulking about the imperfections too.

That said, I think never being fully satisfied with the end result makes you strive to produce something even stronger next time, and that's a challenge I thrive on.

Pph call that a party? Not even a pie barm in site!

Im not even sure soft focus could rescue us lot... imagine how a Rig Out party would turn out?

James would set his beard on fire, you'd end up glassing someone, I'd relapse on Ket and Antony would end up dropping his camera in his pint glass. And the birds wouldn't be as fit.

Congrats to Inventory!

See, there I go again flying in the face of conventional grammar ...

*Sight. No pie barms in sight*
