—01. Camouflage and 60/40 shorts.

Words

We just received another order from Mt. Rainier Design for the summer, this time taking a step away from their most known products - parkas. Using the same fabrics however, Mt. Rainier Design have produced two great pairs or shorts this season, the cotton camo herringbone fatigue style shorts, and the simple 60/40 climb shorts. Both have a great fit, feel very nice and are tough to find styles.

These dudes are a little tricky just cause I feel like they really ran with the whole" "made in USA" look and feel that several of their contemporaries remain true to.

Made in China.

Oh well....

What isn't I guess.

It's true, these shorts are heavily inspired by Americana styles, but are made overseas. The production quality is great on the products, so I think that once you start using more unique and interesting fabrics, and really having nice detailing, producing in China might be the only way to keep the cost relatively okay.
