Restock: Engineered Garments Workaday BD Shirts

—01. White, Blue, Red Stripe and Blue Stripe.

Worn daily by half the Inventory team, these shirts are back in stock, and now available in four colours. I know some people are put off by the height of the gusset and the lack of buttons towards the bottom of the placket, but wear a white T underneath and before long it's other shirt styles that won't feel quite right.

Never fear the high gusset...

Are the Workaday shirts comparable to other EG shirts in terms of size and cut?

This shirt fits quite strange. Fits me well in the chest and lengthwise, but the arms are huge. Guess I need me some massive fatigue pants

they fit a bit larger thant other EG shirt.
Quite narrow on the shoulders and chest, a bit of suppression at the waist. The shirt is quite long and flares out a bit at the bottom. There's quite a lot of room in the back with a large pleat box though.

Get your normal size. If in between 2 sizes, get the smaller.

What's the point of the specific fit of this shirt? Genuine question. Does it give the shirt a unique silhouette? Or is it poorly designed?

Headless... I believe it's based on an old Brooks Brothers pattern. The shirt's design is incredibly intricate and though the fit is not to everyone's taste, I'm fairly sure that's the point. There's plenty of other shirts out there with a more standard appearance, but this intentionally offers something different.
