Words

Simple, effective; well-cast and styled in an interesting yet wearable way. What more could you ask for, from an online editorial? Don't Hold Me Close is the latest visual offering from Nepenthes, featuring items from the Engineered Garments, FWK and Workaday Spring-Summer '15 collections. Worth a click. Worth a look. I quite like those runners too.

Workaday for Everyone by JIMA

Words

Shot on the streets of New York City in classic JIMA style, this little EG Workaday feature popped up on the Nepenthes website last week. It probably wasn't intentional, but Down by Law immediately sprang to mind. Click on the link below to see what I mean.

Workaday Combo Utility Jacket and Fatigue Pants

01. Utility Jacket.
02. Fatigue Pant.

Words

Engineered Garments have produced two pieces this season, as part of their Workaday collection, that use a combination of both grey and olive. Both the Fatigue Pant and the Utility Jacket provide a unique, but ultimately wearable option for those looking for something a little different. The Bureau have laundered the pieces in Belfast, in order to provide both a better fit and a softer finish.

Restock: Engineered Garments Workaday Cords

01

Images

—02. Olive.

Words

These are some of my favorites pants. Since the day I got my first pair, they have got regular wear and also quickly became an Inventory favorite across the board. There are no bad color options, but the tan and olive seem to be especially good, while the burgundy and brown are perfect for the fall.

Restock: Engineered Garments Workaday BD Shirts

01

Info

—01. White, Blue, Red Stripe and Blue Stripe.

Words

Worn daily by half the Inventory team, these shirts are back in stock, and now available in four colours. I know some people are put off by the height of the gusset and the lack of buttons towards the bottom of the placket, but wear a white T underneath and before long it's other shirt styles that won't feel quite right.

Engineered Garments Workaday Pocket Tees

Info

—01. Available in white, grey & navy.

Words

The EG Workaday selection continues to be something of a rarity outside of Japan. The tightly knit offering includes a great set of staples that I wear quite regularly. The only new item this year is the pocket t-shirt with the overlap 'crossing' collar. Available in three colors, these t-shirts are made in Canada, fit small and are a nice addition to the Workaday line.
