Russell Moccasin has been making traditional, American-made hunting boots with a moccasin construction for 115 years. A lot of their appeal in recent years, has been as a result of interesting and inventive collaborations that don't necessarily utilize the heritage patterns of their past. Double Select has been working with the Wisconsin bootmaker for a little while now, to create some distinct models and this time they've paired the aggressive Vibram ripple sole with Russell's outstanding Sporting Clays Chukka in Tan Laramie suede.

While the Russell Moccasin for Double Select PH II was an excellent collaboration, this one seems to have missed the mark. I have to side with Dr Mike on this one.
