Russell Moccasin are one of the best footwear makers around, but unless you go to them directly, their shoes are very hard to find. There are so many good models in Japan, and it's only since Nepenthes opened in New York that any interesting models have been made available here. These short boots use a classic Vibram sole and don't look totally unlike our Yuketen collaboration, which definitely isn't a bad thing.

Nice product but It's not exactly available since it's one (small) size only on a japanese website, at a japanese prohibitive price.

getting... tired... of ... this .... look.... this one in particular is so out of proportion from a sole to upper perspective. the crepe wedge sole has it's place on so many items, but not on this mudguard chukka. save it for the beefier boots. or if you have to use a crepe wedge here than cut it in half. the originality of this beefy look was lost about 6 months ago.
