I always think MHL looks a bit cheap.

We are expected our Margaret Howell shipment in the next week or so, not soon enough!

Dr Mike, I can only then assume that you've never handled MHL/Margaret Howell clothes...? If there's one thing that marks her product out for me it's the sheer quality of otherwise unassuming items. The knitwear is for example awesome, without doubt some of the best going.

Giffen, I second your comment the two pieces I have are really well made, plus her modest designs make her one of my favourite designers

Giffen---Ive been buying Margaret Howell clothes in London since 1979 when they first appeared in the 'Joseph' boutiques in South Molton Street and Brompton Rd.My opinion Still stands re the MHL stuff.

MH doesn't have this sturdy type of quality that the more rugged brands have. It's more like some refined casual items with the right level of quality for a gentle use. It should not be compared to the likes of Post/EG that use more sturdy workwear construction.
