Subtly is the key, as it is easy to get carried away with wild combinations that will be out of date by the end of the season. The Bureau have ventured to come up with their own trademark moc toe shoe. The result is a classy, casual, nice looking shoe made by Alden.

Another great special make-up for Belfast's The Bureau. Supreme menswear retailer can't seem to put a foot wrong, and the use of the Kudu leather on the longwing with a double leather sole is no different.

Another nice looking longwing make-up by the folks at Leffot. They continue to work with Alden to create a nice range of exclusive footwear. These longwings are perfect in terms of the season, tough chamois leather, combined with the commando sole make for a tough wearing winter dress shoe.

This light weight Alden Good year sole makes for a good option on the oxford. It's been used frequently in Japan on boots, and also at Blackbird. The low cut oxford suits it nicely and the 'earth' colored oiled suede makes for a nice fall option.

Footwear leaders Alden have teamed up with Museum Ark to produce this tobacco suede version of Alden's popular bespoke lace up boot. It houses all the quality materials and classic design they are best known for. Constructionally they adapted super-light cushion sole which helps transform the 6 inch boot into a more casual and wearable piece of footwear.

Alden Plantation Chukkas

These shoes seem to have a bit of a fall feeling about them, but that doesn't mean they can't be purchased right now. Leffot just received two new chukka boots from Alden, but my pick is the brown chromexcel version with a plantation crepe sole. I already own this version in a blucher, and they're great. Tough, easy to wear, durable – I feel like the sole gives them a nice casual, rugged appeal. I'd personally be interested in seeing this chukka in a suede version with the same sole as well.
