This spring Beams opened the doors of their Harajuku store to Pilgrim Surf + Supply, and the two companies worked together to develop a selection of special products for the shop-in-shop in Tokyo. Head Beams buyer Alex Nakada travelled to New York last summer to discuss various collaborations for the project with Pilgrim's owner, Chris Gentile, and Battenwear designer, Shinya Hasegawa. This process was captured by photographer Dave Potes for our latest online feature.

Warmest Alohas is photographer Dave Potes' second solo show in the past 12 months, only this time it's over on the East Coast, and hosted at the newly opened Pilgrim Surf + Supply store in Amagansett, New York. The show, which opens on Saturday, features an all new body of work that was shot in Hawaii earlier this year.

Regular Inventory contributor Dave Potes opens his first solo show this evening at Family in Los Angeles. Entitled The History of the Dodo, the show is accompanied by a laser printed, perfect bound 120 page book, which has been published by KHE and produced in a limited edition of 300. The book will be available at the show and via the Inventory Stockroom in the coming weeks.
