—01. Olive Coveralls.
—02. Tartan Tray.
Haven have received a substancial shipment from Head Porter and Head Porter Plus. Among the seasonal basics, there are a few stand out items such as the Coveralls and a variety of tartan plaid accessories.

—03. Digital camera case.
I really want a small bag, pouch or case for my point and shoot. Ideally it would be just big enough for my camera, a pen, a small note pad and maybe some business cards. The small hip pack from the Stellar collection is atop my list right now, although the small digital camera case isn't a bad option if its just for the camera. The only problem is that I wish I had found it before I left for New York.
—01. Photographer traveling pack.
You can put this freshly on the top of my 'want' list. Head Porter and Silly Thing have worked together on a photography project before, but this one has resulted in a set of great looking, very functional bags. Especially the small lens and camera bags would be great to have handy. The all black everything colour choice, clean details and fabric all look very nice together.
—01. Hi-Density Nylon Taffeta PVC construction.
—02. Leather straps and trim details.
Another great looking product from Head Porter's range. Many of their products are often too bright, or have crazy patterns that don't really work for me, but this olive drab rucksack looks amazing, and features some high quality fabrics. While the price might be a little higher than I would like, it's worth looking at in regards to its design, use of material and small details.
Recently Haven became the only North American retailer that I'm aware of to stock the Head Porter Plus collection. While the collection may not seem overwhelmingly exciting upon first glance, the chinos and oxfords often have subtle unique details hidden away that you can find on your own. It's a brand we've often written about here due to their understated approach to design and the wear-ability of most pieces. The collection is made in Japan and is finally sold in Canada. Haven's first shipment was small but well edited and we should continue to see some new collections arriving in the store. We might even see the store arriving in a new city, who knows.
The Black Beauty package from Head Porter is probably my favorite. The items are pure black, go with everything, are well made, somewhat padded and still have that Porter name on them. I have a few pieces by Porter now but the only Black Beauty item I had was a wallet which I recently lost. This leaves me missing my direct connection to the pack, as well as wallet-less still. I also don't have, but want, an iPhone. So once I scrap enough money together to get a wallet, I will then put enough money in that wallet to get an iPhone, then go on to possibly purchase this Black Beauty iPhone case. For those who are ready to skip that process, the new messenger bag and iPhone case are available at hnyee.store, or will be soon.
