Only a couple of weeks ago we were in this space, watching this process take place. However, it was on the hottest day in New York in some 30 years, so hot it was difficult for the candles to set properly even. The atmosphere was great and the setting was really nice. Although we got to discover some of the hidden gems of Joya's operations, its almost a more pleasant visit viewing these great photos from a comfortable desk, a window open with a gentle breezing flowing in.

After some anticipation, our candles are finally available online and also at Dover Street Market. Our first Inventory scent has been received very well. We couldn't be happier with the rich smell Inventory Item 012 has created in our shop, and we've already started working on a complimentary follow-up for next spring. Working with Joya has been very enjoyable so far, and hopefully you'll enjoy this product as much as we are.

We've been working on this collaboration for quite some time now and it's just about ready. It's a scented candle - our first non-wearable Inventory Item - and we're really pleased with the end product. We worked closely with Frederick Bouchardy at Joya in New York and thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. The scent, Fig, Sunwashed Oak & Amber, is quite intricate, but the smell is warm and subtle, filling the room nicely without being overpowering. The candles have been poured; we're just adding the finishing touches, but they'll be available in the next week or so, priced at $45.
Available soon at Inventory Stockroom, Partners & Spade and Dover Street Market
