Mr. Schuman has been a busy guy this past season, making his rounds to the fashion capitals of the western world to take pictures of people who dress well. Sounds like a tough job doesn't it? There is now a little compilation of his top 'pics' from the off-the-runway New York scene on mens.style.com. There are definitely some good looking people wearing some good looking clothes. I seem to like the same colors, materials and general style with my top picks of the Sartorialist's top pics. Of these four, my favorites are the top two images. I love the varsity cardigan and aviator glasses a lot. The other fellow has a nice grasp of the shrunken outfit look and I really like the hint of plaid from the inside of his jacket. Kanye and a couple uber RL guys round out my top choices - really enjoying Kanye's gloves.

Kanye Again...

I just came across the page spreads from Kanye's latest Vibe cover and feature article and was again pretty happy with what I saw and read. I know we've had the debate between a few posts about his style, influence and personal brand. But I have to point out how well put together he is here. RAF Simons blazer and Band of Outsiders shirt, unfortunately we can't see the pants (if he is even wearing any). Of course you can't just put on some nice labels and come out looking good, but I feel like Kanye did come out looking pretty good. I wouldn't recommend on of the Lego hearts for daily wear but considering Kanye's recent album, it's perfect. I suppose I like it because it's very simple and something I would wear daily. I also wonder if he would pick this outfit himself or have a stylist handle that? Either way, he's probably the only megastar wearing clothes I want to wear daily, but on the cover of any magazine he wants.
