Words

Following on from the editorial they produced for our fourth issue, Neil Bedford and Craig Ford have just released this set of portraits promoting the Fall-Winter '11 Mr. Bathing Ape collection. The pair continue to take an interesting approach towards the brand's image and I'm always impressed with the results.

Words

I'm not sure how this piece passed me by, but its definitely one of my favorites from the Mr. BATHING Ape collection. While the prices for the pieces are not cheap, Present have just gone into their summer sale, so the jacket is slightly more attainable, yet I might still be waiting for another drop.

"Inspired by founder Nigo’s love of fine tailoring and his time spent with some of the world’s finest tailors on Savile Row (including Huntsman and Anderson & Sheppard), the debut range is a tight capsule collection of suits, shirts, ties, and shoes made to the highest design and production standards. The range embodies two key looks – British classic, and American classic – with all items showing a distinct influence of one or the other."

Words

With all of the news surrounding the Bathing Ape/Nowhere brand, the company is still rolling out some quality product and the development of the Mr. Bathing Ape collection is a definite highlight. Present are the first shop outside of Japan to get their hands on the brand. The first delivery includes the footwear, classically styled, but with an Ape's sense of humor. I personally quite like the subtle touches and would be happy to sport the wingtips especially.
