Supreme have released a new set of shades today, the Alton sunglasses. The classic shape comes in four different colours. While the green is especially unique, the blonde and tortoise options are perfect for the summer.

Supreme Workers Jacket

One of the most simple, easy to wear items in the latest Supreme collection. Often the vintage versions fit terribly. The fabric and weight of this makes for a nice spring jacket.

Supreme SS12 Lookbook

Info

Words

Now that fever pitch has been reached following their latest advertising campaign, Supreme have today launched their latest online look book. While I'm sure they'll be no escaping its constant re-blogging and opinion dividing, this season it not only confirms yet another step forward for the brand, but it also provides me with the extra entertainment of seeing a familiar face blowing around on the winds of internet hype. Paddy Jones made an appearance in Issue 05 of Inventory, and it would appear that Supreme haven't missed a trick in the year that saw them open their first store in London: not only does Kate Moss divide her time between The Big Smoke and certain posh parts of the English countryside, but so too does the young man they've chosen as this season's model.

Supreme Fall-Winter 2011

01

Info

—01. Blue & yellow.

Words

It's not much of a secret that all of us at Inventory are fans of Supreme. With the recent release of their fall collection, we've each been going through and picking out our favorite items this week, and while there is nothing particular that I am going to camp out for, their look book in general looks great. The mix of color looks great, along with the mash up of traditional street wear items and more classic garments, which Supreme does a great job of each season.

Adam Kimmel For Supreme

01

Images

—01. Twill cotton suits in navy & black.

Words

The spring collaboration between Adam Kimmel and Supreme has been hyped up enough, but I think the product does deserve a good look. With simple detailing, nice fabrics and a good fit, the two companies have put out a nice product. Especially the navy cotton twill suit, which works nice separately, would prove to be a great piece to have. Read the interviews below, and you can also catch the Adam Kimmel jacket in the spring Supreme editorial in our latest issue of Inventory.

Words

It's no secret that Supreme has launched their spring collection preview, and will be releasing the new items in store this week. The collection, as usual, has some very strong points and a nice variety of easy to wear items. Among my favorites are some of the simple stripe tees, shorts, chinos and outerwear. The Liberty print shirting as well looks great. I've been a big fan of floral shirts this season, but I think Supreme has done a nice job to keep them more wearable.

Supreme Editorial

01

Images

—01. Photographed by Ari Marcopoulos.
—02. Syled by Yohei Usami.

Words

There have been a good handful of Supreme editorials this fall, each of them very well executed. I wouldn't expect anything less from the NY brand, the subtle variety and use of legendary photographers is impressive. This editorial shot for Warp magazine by Ari Marcpoulos is my favorite however. The use of tone, motion and the styling all came together really nicely to capture a great atmosphere.

Pick Ups

01

Images

—01. Supreme Book, Vol. 1.
—02. Take Ivy, 2010.

Words

I haven't posted many of the items I've picking up for a while now, mostly because they are almost all from our own store. Recently however I got a couple of books that I'm pretty excited about. It took me a little while to track down the first Supreme Book, but I'm glad I did. Published in 2005, the first edition features the same format as the rest, but has some great photography and nicely catalogs the old releases. I also picked up the re-published Take Ivy. It's so cheap and I'm sure everybody will have it, but that doesn't mean it's not good. I'm still fairly determined to get an original copy someday, but that day isn't today, so this is perfect for now.
