Warehouse & J.Crew

Words

Probably my favorite thing that J.Crew is doing right now is their work with Warehouse. The Japanese company is one of the best in the world when it comes to classic reproductions. Both pairs of jeans look beautiful in person and have the same single rinse wash. I have always loved the cinch back so the 700J model would be my choice if I was in the market for another pair of jeans right now. The sweatshirt looks great as well, but there is only one size available and it's worth trying on before purchasing. It fits quite small and definitely stays true to its 50s athletic reference. That said, if it fits, add some boots and a military jacket to the mix and you're all set for the fall.

The denim is made in Japan I believe and they both retail for $300 usd.

I picked up the sweatshirt in oatmeal the first go around on the website. It's quite a bit darker than than shown and they feature an interesting shoulder stitch detail that you can't see in the pictures.

Love the sweatshirt. Looks like it was grabbed from my dad's gym class at Berkeley High, circa 1952.
