Waste(twice) x The Superior Labour Basque Shoes

01

Images

—01. Made in Spain.

Words

These woven jute espadrilles feature a lightweight construction and a rope sole. This current model has not changed significantly since the mid-19th century, making them a casual summer staple. The colours are simple and are accented by a single painted stripe across the front. A strong summer collaboration for these two brands.

I'm not even sure why, but I think I might like these. Shame there's only mini-sizes left...

You're getting out of hand. I bought a pair of these last summer - albeit in pure navy - in San Sebastian for 7 Euro. Rope construction and all. They've lasted me until this summer, and are still going strong. Calm your consumerist selves.

I kind of think the nice thing about espadrilles is that they're cheap and disposable. These are lost on me. They're nice though.

This might be a dumb question but how do you purchase items from foreign websites? The site is not in English and I do not understand one word. Surely you don't have to be bi lingual just to order from this site. Is there an easier alternative Im missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
