Our friends Stuart and Stephanie recently visited the Hiut Denim Factory and came back with some beautiful images and an interesting story. The small, but growing, company is based in Cardigan, a town of only 4,000 people, where they focus on one thing, making the best denim they can.

This is one of the better Stone Island shirts I have seen lately. Made from technical fabrics as usual, it features a cotton/polyamid blend that has insulating properties, and the colour is double dyed, hence the deep blue. I love the resemblance to a classic work shirt and I think the understated styling makes the Light Thermo Cotton Shirt one of Stone Islands's more versatile pieces.

Once again, Japanese brand Digawel has succeeded at delivering a playful take on a classic. The wide blue and white stripes may conjure up mental images of Gordon Gekko era Wall Street, but the banded collar effectively offsets these conclusions, creating a unique garment easy to coordinate with almost any style of pant.

Sunspel have been making simple, wearable, yet premium knit goods for a very long time. I'm a fan of their Egyptian cotton t-shirts, but this beautifully shot video showcases the making of one of their Sea Island cotton garments.
