Last summer I got in the habit of regularly wearing tank tops over long-sleeve shirts, I guess as a way to keep the layering alive through the warmer months. Since most of them didn't survive their first tour of duty, the hunt has began again and seemingly ended with this beautiful layered tank from Japanese brand Sunsea.

I don't normally give a simple striped shirt a second glance, but Digawel seem to produce one I want almost every spring. They always manage to make a classic item look less like something a businessman would wear and more like something Tracey Emin might paint in if she couldn't find her pants. She'd call them trousers though.

Junya Watanabe has a way of making everything else I'm looking at just that little bit less appealing. I thought I needed a pair of navy trousers for winter, but all the others I've seen pale in comparison to this option, made up of three pairs. Whereas most designers would have struggled to avoid making this treatment look tacky, as usual Junya hits the nail right on the head.

Mixing panels of fabric and colour is a huge trend in Japanese fashion this season. It makes sense, as the menswear market continues to grow at an accelerated rate, more and more people are looking for a way to distinguish themselves from the pack. As opposed to the heavy-handed application of this technique by quite a few brands, Digawel chose to do a subtle indigo dip-dye, striking a nice balance between new and old.
