"Highlighting Ruscha’s engagement with photography, vernacular architecture and car culture, this second Getty exhibition for Pacific Standard Time Presents features prints and materials related to Twentysix Gasoline Stations (1963), Some Los Angeles Apartments (1965), and Every Building on the Sunset Strip (1966). On view for the first time are also contact sheets from the artist’s shoot of Pacific Coast Highway in 1974-75, one of the many streets he has documented extensively since 1965".

Terry Ellis has been working for Beams since the late 80s but some of his most interesting work has been with Fennica. Alongside the mix of Japanese pottery, Scandinavian furniture and international brands, he's developed an original range of vintage-inspired garments in collaboration with Buzz Ricksons and orSlow. After walking by the Steven Alan Home Shop a few times over past couple of weeks, I finally stopped in this weekend. The space is filled with publications, ceramics, various homewares, scented items and even freshly made juices. They had a large selection of pottery by Shino Takeda as well as Doug Johnston's baskets, both were stand out items in a space filled with great looking products.
