A nylon overshirt is a good choice for throwing on over a light wool layer or heavier cotton shirt during the months that are on the cusp of fair weather. It would function well in light rain, and the slim polyester insulation takes the bite out of the air, that I'm sure will hang around for a while longer.

Aspesi's fall collection is filled with easy to wear, nicely made garments. One of my favorites this season is the 'Marvin' winter shirt. The Primaloft filled shirt has snap buttons, fits great and would work very well as a layering piece in the fall. It's available in navy, black and olive.
