The first collection by Welcome, a collaborative project from Tres Bien and Our Legacy, had it's launch last week, and is available at Tres Bien now. The collection offers several interesting pieces, but the two that most caught my eye were the branded scarf, and the Tibet jacket in blue suede.

Tres Bien have added Nonnative to their extensive brand list this season, and while the Japanese company offers many interesting pieces, these corduroy trousers are my pick of the bunch. A classic style, in a timeless colour, and available in what appears to be the ideal fit.

Junya Watanabe Clip Jacket

So let's get this out of the way: this jacket is expensive, relatively elaborate in both design and detail, and certainly not for everyone. However this particular Junya Watanabe collection was well received by many following its original showing back in January, and it's been interesting to see which pieces stores that carry the brand have chosen to bring in this season. The Army Green Clip Jacket is perhaps one of the most wearable pieces from the current Fall line, offering an easy-on-the-eyes colour combination, combined with some appealing details in the fastenings and closures. Yes it costs a pretty-penny, and no I probably won't ever purchase an item of clothing in this price range, but it's still fun to imagine a bottomless pit of a wallet now and again, and what you might do with it given half the chance.

A couple of our friends in Sweden have got together to open a shop. Tres Bien and Our Legacy have had a strong relationship for a long time now so it makes sense for them to join forces in Stockholm. The store is very clean, uses the space nicely and will no doubt be a success with the loyal following both brands have built over the past few years. You should also be able to find the new issue of Inventory on their shelves in the coming weeks too.

A Look Inside: Tres Bien Shop

Tres Bien Shop has been one of our favorite shops for some time now. The young Swedish entrepreneurs have done a notable job pushing their physical and online retail business. While focusing on their website and perfecting its clean design and updated functions, they spent the early part of 2009 building out their large Malmo location. This fall, Tres Bien has added a number of great collections to their to stocklist including Woolrich Woolen Mills, Engineered Garments and Junya Watanabe. With extensive offerings from their shop-in-shop partners, A.P.C., CDG and Our Legacy, the shop offers one of the most extensive ranges of well edited collections online. As most of the world is used to Tres Bien's online shop, they have taken their time in putting together a great looking bricks and mortar spot in a beautiful old brick building. Recently they had Jeffery Richt take some photos of the shop and I thought they were worth another look. —
