While Sassafras have been making their Vasewall shirt for a few seasons now, this is the first time we've brought it in. The short sleeve seersucker shirt, mixed with the obvious baseball reference makes for an interesting yet wearable summer shirt.

While we always try to bring in the best of each brand, there's always a couple of styles that might not work as part of our overall buy, and that we didn't stock for one reason or another. This Gardener Jacket in Navy coloured 60/40 cloth is available from Loftman in Japan, and looks to be a great pick up for this time of year.

In the midst of opening our New York store we've received a flurry of spring deliveries. Among the recent new arrivals are these two pieces from Sassafras. The Wild Mushroom shirt is made from a lightweight soft cotton while the Plant Marker pants are made from an olive cotton twill.

The first spring delivery from Sassafras includes two colours of the Feel Sun Pants in a beautiful back sateen, the brand's most iconic style, the Fall Leaf Pant, in JWS tiger stripe camouflage, and the Feel Sun Shirt in a mid-weight olive cotton drill.

It's always a little disorientating to see the first splashes of colour, as the spring collections begin to arrive. Eventually though, those feelings give way to excitement and the realization that warmer climates and brighter clothes are not too far away. Loftman have done an excellent job styling together some of these brighter spring items alongside more muted autumn tones, as a lead-in to the season ahead.

Sassafras have used a lot of Tiger camouflage for the spring season. While we are looking forward to our next delivery, it's easy to get excited by seeing other styles arrive in Japanese shops already.
